RM Perera was tasked with renovating the interiors of MTV Head Office, including the office lounge design, workstations and cubicles, partition works, studio designs as well as office furniture and lounge design concepts to match the Maharaja brand personality.
RM Perera was tasked with the new Laughfs Head Office interior decor design, with a modern luxe finish with intricate ceiling designs, beautiful wooden lounging furniture, intricate wall latticework, and more! Exuding sophistication and finesse, the Laughs Head Office interior decor design is a true masterpiece of artisanry.
The vision was to create the counters to resemble mini UFOs through every piece of furniture. These unique pieces were designed and manufactured to show a very futuristic look. The MDF wood furniture is painted in gloss white and LED lighting is embedded into the furniture.
This Government Ministry Institution was designed and built by RM Perera. All interior, partitions, floor, ceiling, doors, and furniture were carried out by the Trendline Furniture Collection team.
The furniture for the Minister’s office and other main areas were done out of solid teak, whereas a special melamine board was used for furniture in the other areas of the office. The design for the Hon. Minister’s desk was so it was not typical, but unique. It was custom-made out of solid teak to give it a larger-than-life outlook.
Minister’s room lounge area was designed to feature a subtle formal sofa unit with a sleek coffee table.
All office partitions and doors were constructed out of imported veneer and frosted tempered glass.
RM Perera was commissioned to carry out all furniture and interior design works at the Mihin Lanka Colombo 3 office. The concept was such that the architect/consultant designed the workstation partitions to look like an aircraft wing.
Asian Alliance consulted RM Perera to do up the interior design and furnishing for all their 8 floors. The furnishing and interior concept design and execution including partitioning, ceiling, furniture, carpeting, pantries, and doors were handled by RM Perera’s Trendline Furniture Line team.
Some of the interior furnishings included the service desk which was glass-topped with aluminium latticework panelling in front and complemented by high-gloss white painted side panels for a modern corporate feel. The same latticework continued as a separator feature and wall panels in the reception area (as seen in the gallery). The customer waiting area seating was done to give a casual and modern look with a formal finish. All workstations were carried to suit a monochrome theme, with black partitioning and high gloss painted white tables and drawers.
